New Style Radio 98.7 FM is a community radio station based in Birmingham, England, and broadcasting to the city's African-Caribbean community. The station, launched on 14 August 2002, was born out of 15 years of short-term radio broadcasting and training.

The service is intended to be reflective of African-Caribbean culture and aspiration in particular and of multicultural Birmingham in general. It is historical in being the first licensed African-Caribbean radio station in Britain.

The Flip Side Show (DJ Denco)

 

The Flipside show is a Hip-Hop radio slot performed by Dj Denco on wednesday nights on newstyle radio 98.7 FM in the United Kingdom. "The Flipside show" also has a subdivision forum that supports the The TRAIL INC"". known as Trails/Flipside. Hosting many international artists from around the world.

Trails/Flipside  is dedicated to the yesteryear classic's and current artists of today detailing individual history of music, developers, public figures and Producers from various backgrounds. So far Courtsey of  "Trails/Flipside" 5ela , Masta Ace of "EMC" Kic Beats and Lil Dap of  "Group Home" Have all featured on The Flip Side show in 2015 !

Group Home is a hip hop duo, composed of members Lil' Dap (birth name James Heath) and Melachi the Nutcracker (birth name Jamal Felder). They came to prominence as members of the Gang Starr Foundation. Lil' Dap made his rhyming debut on Gang Starr's 1992 classic Daily Operation on the song "I'm the Man". Both members appeared on Gang Starr's critically acclaimed 1994 effort Hard to Earn, on the tracks "Speak Ya Clout" and "Words from the Nutcracker". In 1995, the group released its debut album, Livin' Proof. The album was very well received, mainly due to DJ Premier's advanced production work, described by Allmusic as "rhythmic masterpieces" A second album A Tear for the Ghetto was released in 1999, this time with only one track produced by DJ Premier.

Since then,  Lil' Dap released a solo single, "Brooklyn Zone", in 2001, and guested on several other releases. As of 2007, Lil' Dap is an independent artist, He released in 2008 solo album called I.A.Dap He was featured on Large Professor's 2008 album Main Source.

Nas referred to Group Home on the track "Where are They Now?" from his album Hip Hop Is Dead. As of 05/10/15 Jadar Flemish Cap (Jason Rhoden) a producer and promoter for Trail Music Jadar Productions has joined forces with Group home to promote future projects and negotiate with Gaming companies such as nintendo for musical renditions and eductaional learning for young adults, teenagers and children for Global awareness.
